Tottenham Hotspurs an English football club have sacked their manager, Jose Manuel Mourinho.
This comes after his side recording some unimpressive results in the English topflight league as well as European competitions.
The club was eliminated from the Europa League in the Round-16 stage, the club is now languishing in seventh place.
The Portuguese trainer took over as the head coach of the side in November 2019 and subsequently led them to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League during the first season in charge.
His dismissal was confirmed by popular journalist, David Ornstein and after his dismissal, the team will be managed by Ryan Mason and Chris Powell.
He has managed some of the finest clubs around the club with some being Porto, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan. The 54-year-old coach is considered one of the most established tacticians of the modern game.
In 2004, he guided Porto to Champions League triumph and also repeated the same with Inter Milan in 2010 where he won the treble with them.
He has single-handedly conquered Europe and some of the top leagues in Europe. Many people are calling for Juventus to hire him considering how their current manager, Andrea Pirlo is finding things difficult.
